Article #13: What Sales Taught Me About How To Create eLearning People Would Love To Learn From - By Brandon Berry, MBA

How long it took to read? - 4 minutes

Who is it for? - Those who would like a 3 step template on sales and how to apply it to L&D.

What I took from this article - First off, I have to gush over the power of storytelling. Guh! It's a large ambition of mine to become a better storyteller and the author begins with just that: a relevant personal story. Seeing behind the curtain on sales tips is always fun and the 3 step process "entertain, educate, review" absolutely relates to learning and development. I even picked up the useful term "romantic realism" and how it relates to driving a narrative. Overall, this one was short and sweet with a reminder that I should apply for my local Toastmasters!
